| We saw the Northern Lights!

Driving back from a birthday party in heavy traffic with friends on Sun. night (11/07/04), I notice LOTS of freaky fluoro lights swirling in the sky beyond the minimall kleig-lights. Northern lights! I yell. Skepticism ensues. Then cloud cover. Could it have been? Later on in the evening we get a call saying Get out in the yard and look! Sure enough the now-clear sky was going nuts like never before. I had pipe organs playing in my head the whole time, just like in the movie Fantasia. All across the horizon huge bars of light would go streaking up. Then it all left the horizon and did a nebula swirl overhead. OH YEAH! Top that if ya can, dinky humans!
