Cheap XC gloves?
December 16, 2010

Any cheap "off purpose" gloves out there work great for XC?

I need midweight, but slightly heavier is fine.

Water resistant palms. Ideally, a snotwipeable back.

I spose I should just go to Home Depot... but maybe there are some secret tips...

We're talkin' $10...

UPDATE:
HD does have a light pair of synth leather and lycra for $10. And a med-heavy waterproof pair (same maker, a step up) for $20. I got the heavy ones. They bunch up a bit on the pole but then squish into shape. Seem OK for 10-15F range. A bit warm for 20's, really.
