Country Bike Tour in '08?
Just wondering if Jeff or someone is planning on a Country Bike tour this year (2008)? I think it'd be a great thing and I certainly don't see very
many (nor ANY) other rides like it in the MidWest. Maybe some other OYB's and myself can figure one out in Central or NE Ohio.
Maybe we can even get some dirt-track randos! Heck, I was looking forward to the fairly-local dirt century until I discovered it is most certainly a
RACE, not a club-ish ride. And the entry fee certainly lets you know!

Hi JDK! That's a great idea. I wonder if just posting a listing at Craigslist might result in something. Ya gotta go where the people are. I think
I'll be doing another Country Bike Tour this year an hour from here at Waterloo, but an hour or 1.5 hrs is the most I would drive to a ride. So I'm
kinda stuck. I suppose if something really stood out I'd put out more, but the main idea I want to push in my own life is "rubber hits the road" and
"go local!" Like, there's that great Dirt Road ride in New England each fall, I think. I have a link/post at the OYB site about it. It's called
something like the DCDRR---Deer County or something like that. But would I ever, like, fly or drive or train ride all the way to do this ride? I doubt
it. Maybe if a RT trainride was $100...
