The Waterloo, MI, area is great for a mixed-surface tour.
It’s a wonderful nature area that’s very light on cars and has a lot of very scenic, small dirt roads.
In the next couple weeks I plan to do a 3-hour 30-mile ride with picnic. I take it at a fair clip but with a varied pace.
Anyone is welcome to join in!
I might do a little hiking/canoeing/fishing afterward. The trails and ponds nearby are lovely as well! It’s a park that’s worth taking ALL IN for an afternoon visit.
