Full Waterloo Attempt, Ahoy!
Pals and I are going to attempt the Full Waterloo this Saturday, 1/29.
35 miles of huge hills thru gorgeous scenery. It's a great trail when there's a base -- skiable only a few days a season. Goes from near Jackson to Pinckney. It'll take all day.
It's the biggest publicized Epic Ski route in Michigan -- and it's so cool that it's down south near us!
Of course, anyone interested in epics is always looking for more routes. The 30-mi Manistee NCT and 80-mi HCP seem likely but no one has announced them. I plan to change that oneathesedays!
