Great insights into Korean work culture and dating scene. Very different from ours. Of course it's just as much a comment on America. Kostecke does an interesting job of being an impartial player in his writings, even though they're about his life. Amazing travel writing. I guess you could call it travel writing. It's more ex-pat, I suppose. Yet he doesn't seem commited to the place. Is an ex-pat temporary? I have no idea. This is good stuff, though. Just a guy living overseas, working and paying the bills and keeping his eyes open.
