OYB Clubhouse rocks!

I’m going to run a kid’s playtime this summer at a local park. People can drop their rowdy-age kids off for a couple hours of roughhousing, wrestling, treeclimbing, crayfish/minnow/bug catching, kickball, tag football, whatever. It’s a half mile down the street. Maybe 8 kids at most. I’ll watch em and provide loose oversight. I’ll bring a book to read or a laptop, for after I get em up and running on some activity. That would be it; no reffing. (I think I’ll also stash a piece of plywood out in the field at this park—it can be a snake-board we check each day.) Maybe sometimes we’ll meet up in our yard. Mostly it’ll just be like letting your kids out to play, only with an adult around (but not hovering). No fees, rules or long drives. It’ll just be neighborhood kids. We can do bbguns and archery and slingshots sometime, too. Fishing. Biking/running/chasing on our yard trail. We can also go to a park down the road the other way that has a shallow, rocky creek. If anyone needed to go home urgently and wasn’t big enough to ride a bike (or was hurt too bad) I’d use a cellphone or our van which can jam plenty of kids inside. **NOT VISIBLE TEXT: There will be no waivers and no mention of liability (oops, I just said it).**
