Vintage trailers have all the comforts of home…a nice oldstyle home, that is.
You can still buy them cheap. Their elderly previous owners often cared for them meticulously.
We’ve hugely enjoyed ours over the years. 1964 with birdseye maple interior and blue enamel appliances. It all works fine. Classy! (The photo is from the TCT homepage—it’s not our rig.)
I suppose that new ones are far more efficient, far lighter to tow. Well, we’re not going that far anyway. I suppose they’re 10X as pricey but who knows. Some new stuff is quite a good value, of course. If you don’t mind all the plastic.
Say, I hear they’re making new replicas of classic trailer styles. Teardrops, I think. So there’s that approach, too.
