Dream about Martha’s performance art project

There was a vivacious young lady from the U.P. who struck it rich with a famous book who used her clout to host a really big performance art event where everyone was invited and anyone could do a skit. She had a big huge barn house near Bath where the event was held. She had a wild suicidal boyfriend. (But he didn’t mind people joking about his troubles.) She had a manager lady who represented her book sales and art projects. They invented a certain goofy dance step as the theme of the style of art. Martha did some kind of an art project for the big show and everyone loved it. There was a big night of quick performances. I hung around out in the back room where everyone was getting ready. Fancy, serious artists. I had my wood stick javelin. It felt so nice that I got a bit carried away and threw it a little in the room. It went farther than I thought it would and skittered across some tables really close to some people who were getting ready for their show. They didn’t mind too bad. Just a little scare, but they then actually liked the javelin a lot. What is that thing? How do you throw it? They were nice artists. I thought some cops saw me with the javelin, though. They came in and I forget what they did. The show that night was a huge success. Everyone cheered. Even Daisy had a role to play. She swung off a balcony with her chest thru a sling. I think she fell, but was OK. No one minded when I called all the events ‘skits.’ My friends from Lansing Christian School were there. After the show we did some horsing around outside and I accidently hurt someone by flipping them and they had kind of a neck injury for a while. Some wild artist lady drove up to the door in a Rolls. There was a Traction Avant sort of small Citroen waiting ahead of her. Quite glamorous. Party people were heading out. I went back inside and fiddled around then Martha was gone. Everyone else, too. I asked around. Then saw a crayon sign saying someone had given her a flat tire and Liz took her. That was thoughtful in one regard.
