Racers are lucky! Enjoy it while you can!

Here’s a little pep rally for ya.

I must say that there’s nothing more thrilling than a good wild

bike race criterium!

All you out there who are racing: Give it your all and never let

a dull race happen! Entertain them crowds as best you can.

Soak up all that action coz it doesn’t get any better. Let’s see,

really loud music, lots of primes, a big wild crowd, a crazy course,

tons of great riders: what more could you want?

Pull as many stunts as you can. There’s no better time for the

beau geste. Ask for the best of every rider with you and

bring it out in them. Ask to sprint against a guy’s best sprint,

then smoke im if you can! Wind it up and put it down and see

who comes up and asks for more. Take that ball and run with it.

Mix it up…sit up after one prime…then keep on rolling after

the next. Gutter to gutter is what you want. Full power thru

every turn. Enjoy that bell and all that noise.

Show everyone watching that Grand Prix auto-racing has nothing on good

old legs. Show em how there’s always more room between two

bikes than anyone thought possible.

All you ask is for a little adversity. If it’s hot, get yourself sprayed

down and ride great anyway. Have it be blistering and humid, the

field dropping like flies. If it’s raining, all the better. If it’s hilly,

show em what uphills are for. If it’s bumpy show em some cross.

And try an old time night race with bars and outside tables nearby

plus plenty of crowds and noise!
