Good education for kids

It seems like kids should take half practical classes, half theoretical. And that the two need to go together and be tied together wherever possible.

Geometry is important. But Home-Ec is just as.

Both of which dovetail into History.

But Home-Ec, man, those skills need to be drilled into everyone as firmly as possible. How to take care of hearth and home. Shopping. Home finance. This sort of thing might go a ways toward combatting the suicidal consumerism The System pushes everyone into. Consumerism goes AGAINST Home-Ec in most cases. What do you really need? How to plan out acquiring it. This type of thinking goes against Mass Culture in every way.

Then there are the necessary social skills. All kids need to have these drilled in also. Manners. Needed now more than ever. The importance of thoughtfulness, duty, social obligation. The necessity and roots of these things need exposure, explanation, rigorous training and enforcement to be habit in kids. We include table manners here. Singing, dance and instrument playing. Such lessons also go against Mass Culture. But in a real culture people entertain themselves for the most part–90%. In a strong culture such entertainment would never be related to cash outflow. Totally unneeded. But to make people weak and easily manipulated you must first rob them of skill. Democratic schooling must fight back. Make highly evolved social skill training mandatory every year of school. This will build a people who cannot be fleeced.

Work skills. Need I say more.
