Good guys and bad guys in movies

Why do bad guys in movies always have more fun?

In “Face Off”, the movie, the bad guy is spontaneous and versatile. He takes advantage and adapts to everything with pleasure. His identity is changed and he grows because of it. The good guy, as soon as his identity is threatened, becomes totally fixated and obsessed. He then completely breaks down. The only strength he has comes from hate. And from imitating the bad guy. His family life sucks. The bad guy has lively, great and loyal friends. He’s exciting. The good guy is dull and gray. Old before his time. The bad guy thinks of all the one-liners and keeps the good guy off balance. Solves every problem creatively. The good guy is in a total fog. He acts only at an animal level.

Is this the way it has to be?

Where is the good guy who is witty and clever?

What is the bad guy’s Achille’s heel? What remark could you say to him, how could you trap him in a way that would harm him? The whole point is that he doesn’t care. This turns him into a superman.

Is this the truth? Is someone having fun and full of strength when they’re trapped in illusion?

Who is freer?

Could there be a good guy who has no identity hang-us?
