The trouble with bad schools…
Ya know, thinking of bad education and brainwashing,
they aren’t kidding when they say the generations will
reap the harvest that was sown before. Guess who’s reaching the peak
of their powers nowadays? –The guys who thought Vietnam was a
great idea, thought they did it right, if only they had more money,
bulldozers and bombs. The longest, deadliest war in our history and
they thought they were onto something good. The officers—the biggest idiots
—came home and became PRINCIPALS and managers. –Those who really
think in doublespeak. Career and me first—then create the postmodernism
politics to support it. And those who reacted against them, many
becoming just as bad, creating their own doublespeak if they didn’t just
graft the old on. They screwed up over there, and for the past 2 decades
they’ve been screwing up here, but they have even more in store for us.
And our kids. Their grandkids. The chickens always come home to roost.
One of the big ways they’ll mess up is in education, of course.
There are fates worse than toxic pollution: loss of culture. Heritage
extinction is a far bigger loss than a shortened lifespan.
But just think what will hit us awhile from NOW! —We’ll be paying for
the Gulf War for a LONG time. You can’t just go bomb cities and get
away with it. —Well, that’s one way to look at it.
